“The food was great and the music in the bar was also very good. The only downside to this place is the bar doesn't have a menu. It would be nice if they make a menu so we can know what cocktails (if any) they make and the price of the liquors available! MENU PLEASE!!”

“If you're looking for an authentic local bar experience, Chez Guinness-Remera (known as Kwa Guinness in Kinyarwanda) is an excellent option. Enjoy cold (or warm) beer, delicious grilled brochettes (skewers or kebabs), and accompaniments (grilled green bananas, French fries, or fried bananas) in tables arranged in the courtyard or indoors. Guinness brought his famous bar from Bujumbura to Kigali in the late 1990s. Since then he has been offering some of the best grilled meats in Rwanda. I highly recommend the heart, tongue, and beef brochettes with grilled bananas. If you enjoy zingalo (intestines), come early as they are the first to run out. They also have fish and goats brochettes as allowed by supply. Guinness insists on high quality ingredients and timely service. Also try the second location in Nyamirambo.”
