“Following a reservation on Airbnb from my friends, I'm posting this review here on their behalf. I dropped them off at the Airbnb after a safari. They received no welcome from the guard, nor any service either. He even brought friends with him during their stay. The apartment was dirty and poorly maintained. There were almost no kitchen utensils, only cutlery, plates, and pots and pans. But that's not the worst part. The host (Éline) never warned them that people were staying upstairs. When they sent her a message, she first denied it, pretending not to understand what my friends were talking about, then said she had warned them, which is false. The guard also lied and pretended not to understand when my friends told him about it. Since my friends are all girls, they left the apartment in a hurry. So, as Éline says on Airbnb, they did indeed leave the apartment unlocked. But what's the point of the caretaker in this case? Since the caretaker is supposed to monitor the apartment and not let anyone in. Furthermore, the people present, of whom they weren't informed, could very well have entered the apartment. Finally, calling my friend a horrible person is completely excessive and disrespectful. Éline should reexamine herself, her welcome, and her staff.”
